Hot Rolled Steel Beam
Hot rolled steel beams are made by the hot rolling process. Common materials include ordinary carbon structural steel and low alloy high strength structural steel. These materials possess good plasticity and strength, making them suitable for being processed into various shapes and sizes. The common types are I-beams and H-beams.
1.Excellent mechanical properties: Through the hot rolling process, hot rolled steel beams have excellent strength and toughness. They can withstand large tensile, compressive, and bending stresses, ensuring structural stability in buildings, bridges, and other structures that need to bear heavy loads for long periods.
2.High processing efficiency: Hot rolling is a continuous, large-scale production method. The heated steel billets can be quickly rolled into finished steel beams via a rolling mill.
3.Good cost-effectiveness: The hot rolling process is mature, and the raw material procurement prices are stable. Overall, hot rolled steel beams have high cost-effectiveness, which well meets the cost-control requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects.
4.Good weldability: Hot rolled steel beams have high purity and a uniform chemical composition. When they need to be connected with other steel structure components in subsequent projects, the welding operation is simple, and the welding quality is reliable. The strength and toughness of the weld are similar to those of the parent material, which greatly facilitates the construction of complex steel structure systems.
5.High dimensional accuracy: With modern, advanced hot rolling equipment and process control, the dimensional deviations of finished hot rolled steel beams are extremely small, the cross-sectional shapes are regular, and the lengths are accurate. This is crucial for prefabricated buildings since accurate steel beams can ensure tight assembly of each prefabricated component and improve the overall building quality.
Our Hot Rolled Long Steel Beams cover a complete range of profiles including H Beams, I Beams, Wide Flange Beams, and Universal Beams, produced with advanced hot rolling technology.
We supply various grades such as ordinary carbon structural steel and low-alloy high-strength structural steel, ensuring high strength, durability, and excellent weldability.
